Accessible Executive Coaching in 2025: Sliding Scale Rates Update

Accessible Executive Coaching in 2025: Sliding Scale Rates Update

How My Beliefs Have Evolved

When I started coaching ten years ago, I wanted to believe that clear, confident self-advocacy could close the gender wage gap — because systemic injustice felt beyond my control.

"Anchor high and first" became my motto — ask for a high number before anyone else can underprice your value.

I was basically the Monday morning quarterback (like my mom, if you want to psychoanalyze that) for my friends — making them laugh or roll their eyes as I pointed out how much more they could be earning if only they asked.

And you know what? That belief served a lot of people well — friends and clients alike. Especially those whose bosses were waiting for them to make the first move. You can read past clients’ results here.

But after thousands of coaching conversations, I’ve come to see a more nuanced truth:
Self-advocacy is crucial, but it's only one piece of a much bigger, messier puzzle.

A puzzle shaped by:

  • The systemic oppression of Black and brown people

  • The rollback of reproductive rights

  • The lack of affordable childcare and paid leave

  • Bias against neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, and disabled folks

  • And now, attacks on diversity, equity, and inclusion — here in the U.S., the country that prints E pluribus unum ("out of many, one") on its money

Acknowledging the Uncomfortable Truth

And here’s something I’ve had to face:
While I speak about coaching for women and marginalized folks, most of the clients getting promoted and better paid — yes, even in this economy — reflect just a narrow slice of privilege.

Wider systemic inequality has shaped who can access my coaching — and benefit from it.

It’s a painful but essential reminder: many women and folks from marginalized identities continue to under-earn — not from lack of effort, but because the system withholds the unearned advantages others (like me) have had access to: financial resources, social capital, generational support.

That’s why I’m doubling down on accessibility — and updating my sliding scale coaching rates.

About the Coaching Container

My standard package is 20 sessions over 6 months as outlined HERE — designed to help you get anchored in new habits of speaking up, managing up, down, and across, and thereby completely shifting the trajectory of your career.

If you're looking for a shorter engagement (like 10 sessions over 3 months), we can tailor something to fit your goals, and we can discuss the specifics of your situation on a free hour-long consult.

I offer a class-equitable sliding scale on rolling basis, and folks who meet any of the following are especially encouraged to ask:

  • Black, Indigenous, People of Color

  • Immigrants or children of immigrants whose first language isn't English

  • Single parents or caregivers for elders

  • People living outside the U.S. where USD isn't the reserve currency

  • Individuals earning under $140K/year USD

 Sliding Scale Coaching Rates (2025)

Standard Rate – $300/session. My clients at this rate tend to:

  • Earn around or more than $140K/year

  • Own financial assets and have personal savings

  • Pay for "wants" and spend little time worrying about housing, food, and childcare

  • Have either spousal or generational support

 Level 2 – $225/session. Suggested if you:

  • Earn around $140K/year or less

  • Have some savings and expendable income

  • Can manage a vacation once a year without hardship

  • Carry some debt but basic needs are met comfortably

 Level 3 – $150/session. Suggested if you:

  • Earn around $100K/year or less

  • Have limited savings or credit access

  • Budget carefully and prioritize essentials

  • Would find the higher rates a financial burden

A Note About the Sliding Scale

This is about trust, accessibility, and dignity.

No paperwork. No explanations. No hoops to jump through. Just comment in "sliding scale" when you book your free consult with me HERE.

You know your situation best — and I trust you to choose the rate that feels honest and right for you.

Because I also trust this:
With the right tools and support, you can close your wage gap — and that win isn’t just personal.

Every empowered ask, every raise, every step forward contributes to shifting the system.

Change may be slow, but it happens one brave conversation, one decision, one person at a time.

You matter.

PS: A Word About Inherent Paradox

I hold a paradox at the center of my sliding scale offer.

I believe in making executive coaching accessible to more marginalized women leaders — AND I acknowledge that no amount of discounting my time and talent can make coaching accessible to everyone.

I have clients who tell me I charge "too little" for the mind-shifting, results-generating framework I offer. And a part of me grieves that I don’t have infinite resources to make this work available to all the women who could benefit from it.

After more than a decade of serving women in male-dominated industries and marginalized leaders, I've learned this:

The most sustainable way to honor the mission and the life of my coaching practice is to dance between these opposites—pricing that feels right-sized for some, while also caring for my own capacity and well-being.

All that to say: If you feel called to work together — and you need even more flexibility to make it possible — please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask. I'm always open to the conversation.
