Here's a detailed description of the live workshop:
Women often lack access to informal networks in the workplace that can provide critical insights into the unwritten rules of advancement. While not knowing the unwritten rules can be detrimental to your career, and pocketbook, it’s possible to build strategic alliances, and to negotiate and navigate the unwritten rules to level up. This engaging and highly interactive leadership workshop is a two-part process where you’ll:
1. Understand the root of all behavior, which will help you generate and maintain self-confidence and improve self-leadership, while gaining insight into the mindset of your strategic allies.
2. Start practicing concrete strategies of collaborative negotiation, tailored to the needs of women of all backgrounds, and drafting a custom strategy for building an alliance of influencers, mentors, champions, and decision-makers, so you can level up in your career.
Since not all of you are based in NYC or will attend this conference, I thought it would be fun to host a live Zoom Meeting, where I will share insights, research data, and facilitate a live virtual discussion with you.
The meeting will be on Friday, or the day after fireworks and barbecue. 1pm EST.
Keep in mind this is a Zoom Meeting, so please be ready to join via video. I ask that you join from a quiet room where you won't be interrupted for the full hour.
